My name is Eva Duncanson and I’m a doctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh.
I’m currently in my 2nd year and am about to begin fieldwork, for which I will be interviewing women and non-binary people who stream on Twitch in order to learn about how they build communities online.
I work as a research assistant on the CSO-funded project “Understanding and reducing the psychosocial impact of Coronavirus social distancing and behavioural changes on families of care home residents in Scotland” and the Global Challenges Theme Development grant: “Reproductive health of adolescent refugees in camp settings – A qualitative cross-national needs assessment“.
I often take on freelance writing and research work. For a full list of my publications click here.
